The Pearl

Keith Sanford

Maybe she found it on a trail in the mountains, buried under a tree.
It's a treasure they say only a few can see.
Or, maybe she bought it from a stranger who sold it for a very high price,
now, taking all that she hand, through the fire and ice.

But, when she found that pearl,
the splendor and beauty,
something moved her inside.
She found a vision for her life.
She found a vision for her life.

Maybe she found it in land that was far away, where the oceans end,
or it could have been, a gift from a friend.
Maybe it came from deep inside of herself, now. She had it all along.
So, she just needed to sing, to find her own song.

But, when she found that pearl,
the splendor and beauty,
something moved her inside.
She found a vision for her life.
She found a vision for her life.
